What's the deal?
I saw 578GB used out of 5GB, which wasn't clarified well, so I could only think that it was eager to figure out them out because the renewal wasn't done. So, I chose to purchase a personal subscription and I was in the exact safe steps to do so. Even if the information on Google was adequate, had to verify.
The thing is, should I leave the family subscription or without doing so, just check out the personal subscription offer with the primary alias used to login into the family subscription and therefore, the one drive of 1TB(the data in it must go nowhere, i.e. all of the 600 GB in it needs to be there when I'm using the purchase of personal subscription)? So I'm using the same email ID (as I used for the family subscription) to purchase the personal one. Simply put, leave or directly check out the personal subscription purchase?
Through Microsoft customer service, I had to purchase the personal one, and if I'd get any error that there is already a subscription linked to that email ID, leave the family one and then purchase the personal one.
"Nothing. It will stay intact and in view mode only till you re subscribe. You will not be able to upload anything new but for the existing data, you will only be able to view"
Re subscribing means purchasing personal?
"Yes , that is 100 percent correct"
By the way, in Your info of Microsoft account, alter the communication preferences accordingly, if your primary alias isn't functional as a g-mail anymore.
Finally, not getting this error felt like something else, but in a moment of purchasing the personal one, the numerator and denominator made sense!
