BODMAS :
Brakets
Of
Divishen
Mutasen
Addisen
Subrashen
Guess either "shen" or "sen" is fine for the 3rd and last one tho. Consistency.
This was utter pain to watch. At least spellings of 1 word? Like....flabbergasted. Mood off, straight off. It’s not that they don’t know, it’s that they were never taught, never taught properly, or never taught in a way that stuck. I was like, come every weekend, and we got this (sadly...as usual...nope, it didn't happen). Some kids just don't go that far when it's not already instilled by the adults in their lives, and it can be too much to make an effort. Such gaps need guidance. I felt mom would be amazing at this. I still remember us looking into all those basic arithmetic stuff, working with numbers, LCM, HCF, and even parallel lines and angles. In nearly 45 minutes, starting from good division and BODMAS scenarios, they couldn't go wrong. More than anything else, I knew she was always good here. Her soft-paced self and subtleties, I can't describe that easily but yeah they get things going so well. This is a much younger situation. People can grow up without ever getting a foundation, and they develop unusual spellings, half-remembered (biggest fear) rules, and concepts that weren't fully formed. But they still think they got it right.
TL DR
I'm going to start sneaking into classrooms just like that. What are y’all even doing? It's disheartening!
