As soon as I heard the word “giveaway” in some random video, I suddenly drifted back to all the Baby Alive videos I used to watch. And woah, remember that “Baby Alive 20sec” ad? I can’t find it anymore! It was the first little cutie-pie I ever wanted so badly, and now the ad seems to have vanished. I started remembering all the names.. Snip ’n Style, the princess one, and those incredibly adorable Disney Princess baby dolls. Back then, I wanted my baby dolls to feel as real and lively as possible, so I would research every little corner of the internet! Always came back to Hasbro’s Baby Alive. Just that one brand felt magical. Of course there were more realistic dolls out there but Baby Alive, Little Mommy (I still laugh at how convinced I was that it would be the better choice...my mom suggested that walking baby instead! Though the crawling one was pretty good), and the You & Me twin set… those were the ones that truly clicked with me. I still remember sitting near my grandma’s sofa just a few hours after buying one of them, pondering life like a tiny thinker So honestly, mom wasn’t wrong. In hindsight, it’s sweet to realize how important they were to me and how much joy they brought into my life.
